Hope and Despair
"The left" seeks to belittle the significance of family, if not actually destroy it. Thus they demean motherhood as too lowly an aspiration for women, promote easy divorce, approve households with children headed by single women, facilitate alternate living arrangements (both heterosexual and homosexual), advocate promiscuity, and in their role as protectors of the environment seek to prevent overpopulation of the planet by advocating against procreation itself. In every respect they act against mankind, not only its perpetuation but its very current existence by promoting both abortion and euthanasia."

The idea for the Danville Thinker newsletter occurred to me several years ago during the early years of my retirement from the medical profession. Since I have always had a passion for history, politics, and social controversies, I decided to devote my time and energy after retirement to writing articles about these topics for the Danville Thinker.  Over ninety issues later, I continue to write about current events and other topics that interest me, topics that I hope will engage you as well and instill in you the same commitment that I have to the greatest nation on earth.
